After studying functions and locations of the area's Michigan State Police Posts, the MSP made the determination to consolidate and centrally locate its services. A new post was developed to incorporate the necessary operations while replacing the aging Bay City post. The new facility is comprised of 12,000 square feet of space and incorporates offices, a conference room, two temporary holding cells and a two-car sally port.
