Frankenmuth Woolen Mill

WTA worked with the owners of the Frankenmuth Woolen Mill to design a new 5,600-square-foot wool processing workshop, additional storage space, and shipping and receiving addition behind the original 1894 mill.

The goal was to design the new addition to directly complement as much of the Michigan Centennial Business as possible. Old photos of the mill were used to compare and keep the historical integrity and as much of how the mill used to look.

New spaces for executive offices, breakroom space with small kitchen, new staff bathrooms, and new stairways were also added.
