Kalitta Air - Hangers 9 & 10

In 2015, WTA undertook the redesign of Kalitta Air’s Hangar 9, which encompassed an impressive 80,082 square feet. The airport serves as a hub for heavy aircraft maintenance and overhaul operations with Kalitta Air, an aircraft maintenance company, being its primary tenant. Kalitta Air operates in former military hangars and employs around 1,200 workers.

As Kalitta Air’s fleet and business grew, the need for a new hangar arose. Over the past two years, WTA has led the project’s design, management, and administration for their new Hangar 10. Hanger 10 spans 92,562 square feet and is largely PEMB construction.
