McLaren Bay Region -Karmanos Cancer Institute

Conversion of a vacant, two-story building into the new Karmanos Cancer Institute on McLaren Bay Region’s West Campus. The first floor includes comfortable waiting rooms, private and group infusion rooms as well as conferencing and support spaces.

The second floor includes exam rooms, physician offices, conferencing and support spaces. Bringing the outdoors in was the design consideration for this project. Design materials and textures were chosen to distract the patient from the appointment intent.
