Project Description
In the heart of Southern Bay County, stands a newly constructed fire hall that has quickly become a source of immense community pride. Boasting a radiant and modern exterior, as well as state-of-the-art technological upgrades, this fire hall shines as a symbol of progress and dedication to public safety. WTA worked with Monitor Township to renovate and expand their existing fire station facility.
The project included building additions totaling 12,000 square feet along with the renovation of 2,000 square feet of the existing building. Improvements included a four-bay, pull-through apparatus room, turn-out gear, storage and decontamination areas, offices, day-use areas, sleeping quarters, and a large training room space.
“We have the most state-of-the-art fire department of anywhere in this region,” said Terry Spencer, Monitor Township supervisor.
