Ascension St. Joseph Hospital - Surgery Center

Working with Ascension St. Joseph on a variety of projects, firm architects have assisted in upgrading facilities as well as developing an updated Master Plan.

A new 53,000 square foot surgery center was added to the existing Tawas St. Joseph Hospital with the first floor of the addition including a new outpatient entry and lobby, eight (8) private pre-op rooms, six (6) private phase one recovery rooms, eight (8) phase two recovery rooms, and three (3) state of the art operating rooms with sterile core. A future fourth operating room was finished as a community classroom and all associated support spaces completed the new center. Meeting their growing needs and expanding the institution’s services, our firm designed the Harbor Health Rehabilitation Center located on US 23 in Tawas City. The 19,000 square foot facility was designed for physical, occupational, and speech therapy services, and also houses a hearing clinic and a bone and joint clinic.
