SVRC Post-Secondary Transitional Housing

A one of a kind program in the country developed by SVRC Industries and the Saginaw Intermediate School District to provide temporary transitional housing to eight developmentally and disabled students most likely to be able to live independently. While living at the facility, students will receive education and training for daily living skills.

The building consists of five, 2-bedroom handicapped accessible units with a community room, activity room and shared laundry. LEED Certified by the US Green Building Council the facility has drought tolerant landscaping, geothermal heating, cooling, and water heating. Products are regionally produced, recycled and rapidly renewable.
