Job Title: Interior Designer
Job Description:
WTA Architects is seeking an artistic, creative, and energetic interior designer to join our team. We are looking for an individual that is able to think creatively about the use of space, color, and material and translate a client’s desire into a cohesive vision. Candidates should have experience in all aspects of the interior design process and be familiar with a broad range of project types such as educational, healthcare, and office uses. A successful candidate must be capable of working in a collaborative effort as part of an overall design team, with strong communication skills to effectively communicate a design idea. Experience in furniture design and selection is preferred, and a basic understanding of building code and barrier-free requirements are also important.
Responsibilities:

Identify and outline client design goals and vision.

Conceptualize interior design plans and drawings.
-
Determine project costs during design phase.
-
Identify and maintain critical schedule milestones.
-
Source products and materials.
-
Maintain product sample libraries.
-
Create material-color boards for client presentations.
-
Prepare construction documents and specifications for interior design elements.
-
Review product submittals and shop drawings for compliance with design intent.
Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design from an accredited college or university required.
-
NCIDQ Certification preferred.
-
Proficiency in the use of the most recent versions of AutoCAD and Revit.
-
Knowledgeable in the use of SketchUP, Illustrator, or other design programs.

Strong communication and organizational skills.
-
Highly creative, imaginative, and artistic.

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Good client and team management skills and great customer service abilities.

Job Title: Intern Architect
Job Description:
WTA Architects is seeking a highly motivated, energetic, talented individual to join our team. The candidate should have a professional degree in architecture. Candidates will work primarily as part of a project team and undertake a variety of assignments including working on design layouts, researching project information, collaborating with project team members, and implementing the application of standard architectural techniques on a variety of projects.
Qualifications:

Job Description:
WTA Architects is seeking a highly motivated, energetic, talented individual to join our team. The Ideal candidate will have experience in project management duties and all aspects of architectural design, including preparation of contract documents and specifications, construction administration, and client relations. Candidates should possess the experience of coordinating the work of various architectural and engineering disciplines and specialty consultants. Managing internal coordination meetings as well as client meetings and reviews with various governmental agencies for code compliance will also be the responsibility of the successful candidate.
Qualifications:

A professional degree in Architecture from an accredited college or university required.

Architectural license in the State of Michigan preferred, or path to licensure within 3 years.

Proficiency in the use of the most recent versions of AutoCAD and Revit.

WTA Architects is seeking a highly motivated, energetic, talented individual with experience in architectural design, contract documents and specifications related specifically to healthcare projects. Candidates should have a good understanding of the different diagnostic modalities, and also have knowledge of medical planning and modern healthcare delivery. Candidates should possess the experience of coordinating the work of not only architectural and engineering services but also those of equipment venders. Managing internal coordination meetings as well as client meetings and reviews with various governmental agencies for code compliance will also be the responsibility of the successful candidate.
Qualifications:

A professional degree in Architecture from an accredited college or university required.

Architectural license in the State of Michigan preferred. If not already licensed, candidates need to have a goal of becoming registered within 3 years.

Experience in an architectural firm focusing on healthcare projects.
