PROJECT INFORMATION
Reuse of a vacant facility in downtown Saginaw that is located along the riverfront.
The project consists of a new Downtown Saginaw Farmers’ Market and renovation of the former Mid Century Modern style Saginaw News building into a mixed-use facility.
The existing building is three stories plus a full basement. The new use of the building includes the following:
Basement: Full catering kitchen, wash-pack kitchens, and a state-of-the-art autism clinic.
First Floor: Downtown Saginaw Outdoor Farmers’ Market, 40 small shops and eateries, a branch office for Frankenmuth Credit Union, and Federal 131 Wine Bar and Tap Room.
Second Floor: Business incubator space run by CMU Research Corporation and Marketplace Manager offices.
Third Floor: SVRC Industries executive offices, Westlund Guidance Clinic, and Spence Brother's Construction new office suite.
